Working with some of the largest medical device companies in the country, disciplined brand execution is paramount. Every piece must adhere precisely to established brand guidelines while still feeling fresh, engaging, and worthy of the innovation it represents. The challenge is finding opportunities for strong visual communication within carefully defined systems—maintaining consistency across product portfolios while elevating the overall quality of the design.
Throughout my career, I have partnered with leading healthcare, medical device, and life sciences companies to create a wide range of product literature, sales materials, and technical communications. Many of these projects required working within existing brand standards or client-supplied templates, transforming highly regulated content into materials that are clean, organized, and visually compelling without compromising accuracy or compliance.
For BD, I designed an extensive collection of product brochures, sales aids, and marketing collateral supporting multiple business units and product lines. Each piece balanced technical information with thoughtful visual hierarchy, making complex clinical information easier for healthcare professionals and sales teams to navigate.
Additional portfolio work includes the Cordis Portfolio Brochure, where I designed the interior pages while maintaining the established portfolio brand identity, ensuring the content remained cohesive with the larger corporate visual system. For Teleflex, I developed the Speed of Life brochure, creating a polished, customer-focused piece that reinforced the company’s commitment to innovation and patient care. My work for Avery Dennison Medical included a portfolio brochure as well as numerous technical documents, combining precise information architecture with clean, approachable design. See the ZOLL Itamar portfolio for examples of projects with greater design input.
Whether developing new marketing collateral or expanding an established product family, my focus is always on creating materials that are functional, visually refined, and easy to understand. Strong typography, clear information hierarchy, thoughtful use of imagery, and meticulous production standards help transform dense technical content into effective marketing tools that support sales teams, educate healthcare professionals, and strengthen brand recognition.
From product brochures and sales aids to technical documentation and portfolio literature, these projects demonstrate my ability to work within highly regulated environments while delivering creative solutions that uphold brand integrity and elevate the customer experience.
